Q  Do you need an appointment to consign? 

A. Yes, Click the Schedule an Appointment tab!  We do not require an appointment for Prom/Formal - just be sure to click the tab to the left for accepting guidelines.

 

Q. When is the BEST time to book an appointment to consign?

A. Appointments will only show availability for 30 days out. Check website daily!! Appointments fill quickly and this gives everyone an equal opportunity. 

 

Q. What items do you accept for consignment?

A. Clothing, shoes, accessories, home decor, prom gowns and holiday items. See the tabs to the left for details on each category.

 

Q. What are the hours for Encore On Main?

A.  Wednesday 10-5, Thursday 10-7, Friday 10-5, Saturday 10-5,          Sunday 1-5 - ONLY DURING PROM SEASON  

 

Q. What are the hours for Encore Elegance during Prom Season? 

A. Wednesday10-5, Thursday 10-7, Friday 10-5, Saturday 10-5, Sunday 1-5

 

Q. What are the hours for Encore Elegance when it's Not Prom Season? June- December?

A. Saturday 10-5 or other days by Appointment ONLY. 

 

Q. What type of payment is accepted? 

A.  MasterCard, Visa, Cash and Store Credit if you have a Consignor Account with us.

 

Q. Do you allow returns on items purchased?

A. We allow exchanges for Full Price items within 7 days.  This excludes Holiday, Snow Gear and all items in Encore Elegance.

 

Q. Do you offer alterations on Prom & Wedding Gowns?

A. We do have a seamstress available for items purchased at Encore Elegance.

 

Q. Can Consignors check their account balance online?

A.  YES, just click the tab to the left (must have a valid email on file at Encore)  Once your email is registed with Encore, you will receive

login information and account # to check your account balance.

 

Q. What is the consignor percentage?

A. 50/50 on all items selling less than $100. We pay out 60% on items selling over $100.

 

Q. Do you charge a fee to consign?

A. a $1 per month fee will be deducted from all active accounts. 

 

Q. Do you offer layaway?

A. Yes,  25% down and 30 day term.  All items may be put on layaway. We offer extended Layaway on Designer Purses!!! 

 

Q. Do you offer pick up service?

A. At this time, we are unable to visit homes for pick up service.

 

Q. Do you accept furniture?

A. Only small accent items - something we can easily move around the shop'

 

Q. How long are items kept on consignment?

A. At least 90 days. You are welcome to pick up unsold items within 3 days before or after the 90 day term.

 

Q. What happens to the items left after 90 days?

A. The percentage declines gradually and are removed from the floor when space is needed.  We donate to local charities such as Relay for Life, Churches, Countyside Mission, Rowan Helping Ministries, Main Street Mission, and many others doing good in the community.

 

Q. When can I collect the money for items sold on consignment?

A. You may collect cash or check once per month. Any time is fine with us!! You can also use your account as Store Credit.

 

Q. I am a freqeunt shopper, will I receive a discount?

A. Yes, We have a program that rewards you $20 worth of FREE stuff just for shopping Encore. Minimum purchase is $25 to receive the Freqeunt Shopper Card.
